Please fix the hard to see lane lines on southbound 183 between Braker and Mopac exits. Needs to be re-striped . Impossible to see especially at certain times of day and while trying to watch for cars slamming on brakes and changing lanes for Mopac exit. That is too much going on and too dangerous for experienced drivers much less new drivers on the road.

  • Road Markings/Striping - New

Salt Springs Dr & E William Cannon Dr, Austin

    CLOSED #26-00095210

Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. The area in question was previously designated as a bike lane but is now classified as a shoulder. Flex posts were installed to discourage drivers from using the shoulder as a right-turn lane. Cyclists are encouraged to use the shared-use path located behind the curb. With the current placement of flex posts, there is insufficient space for vehicles to utilize the shoulder as a right-turn lane. At this time, we have determined that additional flex posts are not necessary. However, we will continue to monitor the intersection.
