Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. 3/30/26 - Sent email to requester informing her that this location is in the state right of way and she will have to contact Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to address this request. The email includes a web page link to place the request. No further action required at this time.

Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. The area in question was previously designated as a bike lane but is now classified as a shoulder. Flex posts were installed to discourage drivers from using the shoulder as a right-turn lane. Cyclists are encouraged to use the shared-use path located behind the curb. With the current placement of flex posts, there is insufficient space for vehicles to utilize the shoulder as a right-turn lane. At this time, we have determined that additional flex posts are not necessary. However, we will continue to monitor the intersection.
