I informed her that this section of North Lamar Boulevard is under Texas Department of Transportation jurisdiction and gave her their contact info. I also informed her that this is a level 3 street with four lanes and a turn bay and would need a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon. I will send this location to our pedestrian crossing program. I gave him the programs email, pedcrossings@austintexas.gov if he had any follow up question or wanted to know the status of her request.
