Water was cloudy as a result of water main break at 9920 Quail Blvd. Sediment is usually washed into the creek during water main breaks, resulting to cloudy water. The fish kill was as a result of chlorine in city water. Dechlorination tablets were used to reduced the impact of chlorine to aquatic life. Chlorine level in the creek tested zero after the line was valved off.
